UPS Failure

 CONSEQUENCES OF 240 VOLT UPS SUPPLY FAILURE:-

  All LVS supplies from main UPS will not be available but from mini UPS supply will be
available for around 2 hours .

 Scanner panel power supply will trip and immediately scanner will sense no
Flame in the Boiler.Unit will trip on flame failure protection. Turbine trips
on MFT & Generator on Low Forward Power.
 APH Air Motor will take auto start.
 MDBFP scoop will become inoperative from remote.
 LLD High level Switch will act
 ID fans VFDs air flow relays and its control supply will be Lost and VFD will
trip.
 O2 analyser data will not be available
 All Drives vibration including the Turbine vibration data will not be available.

ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN DURING 230V UPS SUPPLY FAILURE:-

  Ensure start of Turbine AOP at 2850 RPM & otherwise start from local control
panel or through hardwired button in UCB.
 Ensure start of JOP at 510 RPM & otherwise start from local control panel or
through hardwired button in UCB.
 Ensure opening of barring Gear at 210 rpm.
 If possible Maintain Drum Level by operating MDBFP Scoop from local otherwise stop MDBFP and stop all BCWP pumps.
 Inform C&I and EMD for restoration of UPS at the earliest.
