2 IOM sent to CISF(Deployment of CISF person(IOM & information to CISF)(one person for Blr & Tur. Each)) Sent 

3 Written Clearnce from Maintenance for BLU Done 

4 Instrument Air & Service air Normalised Done 

 Following Manual valves to be opened:  

5 CBD Manual valves Open 

6 MS, FW, Drum , SS Sample Line Manual Opened Open 

7 MS 203, 204 Open 

8 HRH 203, 204 Open 

9 MS Drains to IBD Open 

10 HRH Drains to IBD Open 

11 Boiler Drum Vents Open 

12 SH Vents Open 

13 SH Drains Open 

14 Isolating v/vs of ERVs Open 

15 SH Drains Open 

16 SH start up Vents Open 

 Following Manual valves to be Closed  

17 MS-1,2& Their IBVs (check their electrical Supply Normalised) Checked 

18 Low Point Drains Closed 

19 SH, RH Spray Manuals Closed 

20 HPBP Spray Manual Closed 

 Firing Preparation  

21 PRDS Charged from Station, Pressure Adequate (12-14 ksc, Temp ~300 Deg C) Done 

22 Open Drain v/v before & after As-21 to Increase PRDS LT Header Temp Open 

23 PRDS to APH Soot Blower Steam Charged, Manual Opened, Motorised Opened, Checked Running of APH BLower with Pressure Checked 

24 Oil Station Normalised, Oil Elevation Guns are Normalised, Oil Guns HONV, ASNV fdbk Checked with Remote selection Normalised 

25 Service Air Adeqaute Pr>5 ksc Adequate 

26 Burner tilt 50% Done 

27 Deluge system charged for Firing Floor. fir Line Pr OK Charged 

28 All Mills Normalised & All Permissive coming for Mill to take in service. Normalised 

29 Bottom Hopper Filled & Seal Trough charged Charged 

30 Reser VFD Fault from the VFD Control Room Reset 

31 All Fans Supply Normal and Their LOPs running. Checked 

32 Check FG Path, Take 2 ESP Pass in Service and 2 O/S for Light up Checked 

33 ACPS i/s and Heaters, Rappers In Auto , ESP Fields supply are Normalised but Not Charged Checked 

 Vacuum Pulling Preparation  

34 Seal steam Controller and Its Bypass MOVs's Manual valves are in closed Condition Closed 

35 Seal steam First Manual v/v and its Atmospheric drains are Open Open 

36 Open AS-9 and Raise Temp Above 200 Deg C Open 

37 Seal Water pump of Vacuum pumps arunning and Flow >14m3/hr and all Permissive coming for Vacuum Pump Checked 

 Following valves to Opened:   

38 MS Drains Before HPBP (8 Nos) Open @TG 8.5 m Open 

39 MAL Drains & Their Manual v/vs Open 

40 Start Additional CW Pumps and MAintain CW Flow as per running unit condition by opening of CW I/L &O/L valves Open 

41 Turbine Bearing, Oil Temps Are OK Checked 

42 Seal Oil Parametrs are OK. H2 Pr>3.20 ksc, DP~1.2 to 1.5 ksc, SO Temp Normal, DC SOP Availabilty Checked 

43 Hotwell M/u Normalised(Normal m/u v/vs, CST m/u, CST to CEP seal manual, CST to v/v Sealing Manual opened) Checked 

44 Hotwell, CST, Deaerator level Normal. Checked 

45 Start 2nd ECW Pump Checked 

46 start CEP, Normalised Condensate Path Done 

47 Start one BFP in Recirculation, Put other on standby,atart Amonia dosing pump Done 

48 Check For Chemistry Clearance for Drum Filling Done 

49 Normalised FW path, Charge 30% Line, Fill Drum upto +50 mm, Open E20 Done 

50 HPBP one OSU p/p i/s, check for PR, Temp, Level Done 

51 Check for HPHs Extraction Line Drain MOVs and Manual valve opened Open 

52 All Breakers in UA, UB, USS, UES, SA board are Normal Checked 

53 DC Drives are ll Ok, Check for DCDB Board and Charger status Checked 

54 Excitation Supplies OK Checked 

55 start AC scanner Fan (check For discharge Pr) done 

56 Start APH Soot blowing (check for Pr,Temp), Put Control In Auto done 

57 Start APH, ID fan, Fd fan put draft in auto, purge boiler (270tph<Air<320 tph) done 

 Pull Vacuum  

58 Close Vacuum Breaker done 

59 Seal Steam Temp>200Deg C before Supply station done 

60 Start both Vacuum Pump& Their SIVs, Vacuum starts developing done 

61 start on GS VEF start 

62 At -0.2 kscCharge Seal Steam By Opening Manual v/v of Supply station & Opening Bypass MOVS & controller done 

63 When Header Temp Reaches 100 Deg C, A Build up in Pressure will occur, Put Controller in auto done 

64 SLC Vacuum to be Made ON done 

 Light UP  

65 Take AB13or AB24 and light up the Boiler done 

66 After 30 minutes, Take other pair of AB done 

67 Charge MOT cooler, LOTCV in auto with 45 Deg SP done 

68 Check for TG Lub Oil filter choking done 

69 Turbine SVs gagged removed Removed 

70 Governing rack Normal, EHC Normal Normalised 

71 EHTC mimic: Speed SP<Turning speed,EHTC o/p:10%, Load controller ON done 

72 All MAL dranis And MS/CRH/HRH drains to HPFT open done 

73 Close Drum vents, SH Vents@2ksc done 

74 CBD open done 

75 Charge MS line @ 8ksc Drum Pr Charged 

76 Charge HP, LP Bypass @ 10 lsc, close MS line drains u/s of HPBP Charged 

77 close start up vents after HPLP Bypas charging done 

 Turbine SVs Opening & Rolling  

78 EHTC mimic: Load ref 20MW,PRmax 50 MW done 

79 Check X1, X2, X3 Before ESV opening checked 

80 Reset turbine by lower SD to 0%, Reset GRP done 

81 Rolling: TG>>turbine all SGC>>turbine Seq>>Program ON>>startup Rolling Started 

82 Advance upto 101 to 105 for SD to reach 42% i.e. ESV opening done 

83 For 540 rpm, check X4, X5, the advance upto 112 step, Then wait 540 rpm Rolled 

84 start PA Fans, Charge SW, SO, H2 Gas Cooler @ 540 rpm done 

85 check Barring gear close@240rpm, JOP @ 540 rpm checked 

86 Inform S/Y to close Isolator Informed 

87 For 3000 rp, X6 fulfills. Fulfilled 

88 From Program , advance upto 116 step, Program OFF Advanced to 3000rpm 

 Synchronisation  

89 check for X7 fulfills Checked 

90 DAVR: DAVR Reset, Close FCB, Excitation ON, make 16KV Gn TV done 

91 Then Sel GCB form OWS, and selction: ATRS from ECP, EHTC: Synchroniser ON done 

92 Open Speed Ref Pop-up for loading , As Unit sync, Load Turbine, Prmax:225 MW done 

93 close HP Bypass , the LP Bypass to avoid HP/IP Trim Checked 

94 check for GT Fans Checked 

95 take Mill A done 

96 close MS 101,102,103,104, HRH 1010,102,103,104 done 

97 Put SLC Drains ON done 

98 @20% Load : Charge D/A, LPHs done 

99 @40% load: charge HPHs, Change over ST to UT done 

100 Take Mills B, C@ 30% and 40% load done 

101 Changeover FRS 30% to 100% @ 40% Load done 

102 Take Additional mill D, and withdraw oil support done 

103 Put Machine in CMC done 

104 Close E20 v/v closed 

105 charge ESP Fields, and Normalise all Passes Charged
