ACTIVITIES AFTER UNIT SHUTDOWN (SHORT SHUTDOWN 8Hrs TO
72 Hrs) STAGE-1
1. After closing MS-1 & 2, isolate electrical supply.
2. Before killing Vacuum,
a) open MS & HRH line drains to IBD
b) close all drains to flash box and condenser
c) Open HPBP line drain lines at 8.5 M.
d) MS line is depressurized.
3. After killing Vacuum
a) Close main isolating valve of seal steam station.
b) Open the vacuum breaker.
c) GSC Exhauster is stopped condition.
4. Stop CEP after 4 Hrs of stopping the unit.
5. Switch off ESP fields after 3 Hrs of stopping the Unit.
6. Throttle the condenser bring the flow 7-8000 T and stop one CW pump.
7. Isolate inlet and outlet valves of Hydrogen coolers.
8. Close only the cooling water inlet valve of seal oil cooler.
9. Close only the cooling water inlet valve of Stator water cooler.
10. Open both side isolators of Generator main breaker.
11. Close Audco valve in LDO line at firing floor.
12. Close Audco valve in HFO line (horizontally located at firing floor.
13. Ensure that main Audco valve in HFO line at Firing floor remains open Put HFO in Short recirculation
14. Isolate all oil guns all elevations.
15. Isolate manual isolating valves of SH/RH Spray lines.
16. Isolate HPBP spray line isolating valve
17. Isolate supply for DM-4
18. During Unit shutdown condition monitor following
Boiler side
a) Scanner fan is running
b) After FD fan is stopped check opening of emergency damper of scanner fan.
Turbine side
a) Barring speed
b) Jacking oil pressure, oil leakage any Brg.
c) MOT level & duplex filter choking.
d) Hydrogen & Seal oil parameters.
e) Hotwell & Deaerator level.
f) Stator water pump running.
g) Condenser pit level.
