LIGHT UP CHECK POINTS



BEFORE LIGHT UP ACTIVITIES
BOILER SIDE
  • MAN ,MATERIAL REMOVED AND BOILER IS READY FOR LIGHT UP.
  • DRUM LVLPROTECTION TO BE BYPASSED.
  • SEAL TROUGH CHARGED AND BOTTOM ASH HOPPER FILLED.
  • ESP FIELDS OFF.
  • MAINTAIN WINDBOX TO FURNACE DP PR ABOVE 35MMWC AND PUT SADC IN AUTO.
  • HFO TEMP INCREASED TO >100 DEGREE BY INCREASING HFO HEATER SET POINT .
  • SCAVENGING OF AB ,CD,EF OIL GUNS TO BE DONE IN ADVANCE BEFORE RESETTING MFT.
  • BOILER DRUM, SHVENTS AND SH DRAINS AREOPEN. ALSO BOILER OTHER DRAINS MUST BE IN CLOSE CONDITION.
  • APH BLOWERS LINED UP AND OPERATION CHECKED.
  • ECO R/C VALVE IS OPEN.
  • BOTH BCW ARE RUNNING AND THIRD ONE IS IN AUTO S/B.
  • CBD MANUAL AND MOTORISED VALVES ARE OPENED.
  • ENSURE LP DOSING P/P AND BOTH CPU I/S.
  • PAPH –A AND B FG O/L CONTROL DAMPER CLOSED.
  • ALL MILLS LOP FLOW TO BE ENSURED AND HEATERS TO BE I/S AS PER REQUIREMENT
TURBINE SIDE
  • HW/DEAERATOR LVL NORMAL(HW: -150MM, D/A: 450MM)
  • SH/RH/HP BYP SPRAY MANUAL V/V SHOULD BE CLOSED.
  • MAL DRAINS MANUAL AND ELECTRICAL(11,12,26,22,31,32,27,47,51,52,54,81,55,65)OPENED
  • MS STRAINER DRAIN (MSV-101&102) AND HRH STRAINER DRAIN (HRHV105 &106)OPENED

AFTER LIGHT UP
BOILER SIDE
  • FEED WATER FLOW TO BOILER IS CONTROLLED BY LOW RANGE FRS IN AUTO AND TDBFP DISCHARGE PR>10 KSC FROM DRUM PR.MONITOR EXHAUST HOOD TEMP BELOW 100 DEGREEC AND CHARGE HOOD SPRAY IF REQUIRED.
  • DRUM AND SH VENTS CLOSED AT DRUM PR 2 KSC.
  • START UP VENT CLOSED(AFTER HPBP AND LPBP CHARGING) AND SH DRAINS CLOSED AFTER 15 KSC DRUM PR.

TURBINE SIDE
  • MAIN TURBINE SEAL STM TEMP INCREASE >240 DEGREE, ATMOSPHERIC DRAIN AT 17M OPENED AND TDBFPS GLAND STM CHARGED AND OPEN EXHAUST V/V.
  • VACCUM BREAKER CLOSED AND VACUUM P/P TO BE TAKEN I/S.SEAL STEAM CHARGED AT > -0.20KSC.
  • BSV OPENED AND HPBP AND LPBP WARM LINE CHARGED>5KSC DRUM PR.
  • LPBP/HPBP CHARGED AT DRUM PR OF >8 KSC.

BEFORE ROLLING
BOILER SIDE
  • OPEN ANY MILL CAG AND CAD AND PA FAN TAKEN I/S AND OPEN PAPH FG O/L DAMPER.ENSURE ONE SEAL AIR FAN IS RUNNING.
  • ONE MILL (A OR C) IS TO BE TAKEN I/S AS PER(TSE) HP TURBINE CASING TEMP.
TURBINE SIDE
  • ENSURE TURBINE IS IN EHTC MODE FROM LOCAL.
  • HP/IP TOP/BTM DT TO BE MONITORED.
  • DECREASE LUBE OIL TEMP SET POINT FROM 50 TO 45 degC .
  • PR SET POINT IN INVENSYS SCREEN TO BE KEPT 50 KSC.
BEFORE SYNCHRONISATION
  • Pr max LOADAND LOAD REF VALUE SHOULD BE REDUCED TO 50 MW.
  • HPBP SRAY NORMALISATION AFTER HPBP DOWNSTREAM TEMP >330 DEGREE.
  • GT ISOLATORS TO BE LINED UP FROM SWYD.
  • BEFORE SYNCHRONISATION ONE MILL IS I/S AND ONE MILL HOT AIR CHARGED FOR WARM UP.
AFTER SYNCHRONISATION

  • SH AND RH SPRAY MANUAL V/V OF TDBFP AND MDBFP OPENED
  • PW/GAS CNTRL TO BE PUT IN AUTO.
  • LPH/DEAERATOR/HPH TO BE CHARGED.
  • MAL DRAINS CLOSING.
  • ST/UT CHANGEOVER AFTER 100 MW.
  • FRS HIGH RANGE TAKEN I/S AT >200 MW BY KEEPING DRUM LEVEL LOW(-150MM).
  • OIL GUN WITHDRAWAL AND ESP FIELD CHARGING AFTER FIVE MILLS I/S AND LOAD >300MW.
  • BOILER SILICA TO BE MONITORED BEFORE FURTHER LOAD INCREASE.
