1 Water washing of air heaters should be carried out in hot condition after boiler shutdown.Flue gas inlet temperature should be between 200 deg C to 150 deg C
2 Both FD/ID/PA fans should be in stopped condition
3 All APH flue gas outlet damper should be closed
4 Maintain Service water & Fire water tank level at higher side.
5 APH wash pump & Fire hydrant pump should be available & have adequate pressure (>8.5 ksc )
6 Before Running APH wash pump , another unit APH wash pump common valve & all downstream individual valve of APH is to be in closed condition.
7 Both FD/PA Fan discharge duct drain at zero metre should be in opened condition
8 APH hopper man hole door are to be in opened for removal of water & ash sludge. APH hoppers are to be emptied.
9 FG inlet & outlet duct man holes are opened to check the performance of nozzles at hot & cold Endrespectively.
